If My People…

2nd Chronicles 7:14 says…

If my people, which are called by name, shall humble themselves, pray and seek my face and  turn from their  wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will heal their land.

God is calling his children back into his presence, somewhere along  down the line it has been a huge disconnect with God in his children and as I sat praying to God he spoke and said ” If my people”…

Removing the rope

God knows the difference between our wants & needs... Trust God. Click To Tweet

Earlier today my nephew Logan decided that he wanted to take a jump rope and wrap it around his neck, I’m not sure what made him wrap the rope around his neck in fact even when I questioned him on his actions his response was because ” It was his rope”  I instantly saw how dangerous it was for a child to even have a jump rope at such a young let alone play with it unsupervised, that I urgently went to rescue him from potentially harming himself.  Logan wasn’t a very happy camper about this decision.  He decided to have a temper tantrum kicking and screaming demanding the rope back. It reminded me of how sometimes God will close doors on situations, take us away from dangerous relationship, friendships. How sometimes he yank us from life threatening situations and set us in the ” green pastures { Psalms 23}” while our flesh kicks and screams for things that God purged us from. God gives us confirmation that he isn’t taking us away from dangerous situations because he doesn’t want for us to have fun, just  like how Logan thought it was “fun” to play with this rope. How sometimes we think its “fun” to play with fire not expecting to be burnt from the fire but,  God cares so much about us that he wouldn’t be the GREAT I AM THAT I AM  if he allowed  us to sit and play with death. Where God is sending you…

God is sending you out to a nation that’s awaiting on a word from God.

Are you willing to carry the message to Gods children?

God is sending you out with a message, will you deliver it? Click To Tweet

Remember those nights where you cried out to be sent wherever God needs you?  Or.. To be used by God? Well its deployment time. God has heard your request and He says ” Its Time”. God is sending you out to a nation that needs rebuilding. See God’s name along with his character has been defiled and He needs for you to uplift his name again. He needs your help to rebuild his true integrity of who He is and what he actually died for. God doesn’t want for any of his children to go into the lake of fire so he needs your help and preaching his name, spreading the goodness of him & pushing souls back unto him. God is sending you out a generation that has become so self-absorbed; that they aren’t willing to sacrifice anything to be in his presence. Its says in Philippians 2:8 that

Riding the fence

Am I Lukewarm Within my walk with God? Click To TweetAs I sit straddling the fence of wanting to live for Jesus I sometimes have this faint desire to satisfy my flesh. Lord, I know I must love one and hate the other but, how do I combat this thirst I have to drink from the fountain of flesh. I ride this fence torn between the two. I want to live for you but, I’m torn because my flesh rules over me. I hate to admit that sometimes I fall into submission to this desire. I am stuck riding this fence. Read more

Walk Into Freedom

I sat at Jesus feet filled with emptiness, so badly yearning to be freed from the bondage I was presently entangled in. Freedom seemed as if it was within my reach  but, still so far away. I cried out Jesus save me,  free me from this imprisonment of sinful behaviors, rejection, depression I so badly want to be with you. My soul screamed out that it was tired of bowing down in submission to sin, guilt & misery. God compassionately answered me and said” Its time that my people are free”.  See- Its been a declaration signed that all of God’s children has suffered enough pain that has been brought upon by the hand of the enemy. God is personally removing the hand of the enemy that has embodied his children lives, that has taunted them  into fear; God is saying its time to walk in freedom. Read more

Compromising Your Faith.

Throughout life we face situations that challenge our beliefs, from being struck with obstacles that life bring upon we harbor upon the thought of compromising. We tend to believe compromising is our only best option when push comes to shove. We compromise ourselves into a relationship that wasn’t structured around God and find ourselves getting hurt or maybe we took a job out of desperation or disobedience. We all have been in similar situations as these, little do we know we settle more often than we tend to believe but, God is looking for people who aren’t negotiating their faith. Who aren’t compromising  the true essence of who they’re and the love they have for God.

How would you be found in this season?

The month of January has been difficult for me hence the reason on the late posting. I found myself walking through snow and slipping on ice due to my car failing on me, along with someone draining my bank account. I cried out how much more? I felt myself breaking and crumbling and I remembered this vow I made with God that I would never curse him or speak badly on him, I felt as if I was a modern-day Job. As I walked in the cold I prayed that even if my situation doesn’t change I will be found rejoicing through this season. I ask you how would God find you in this current season you’re currently in? Will you be  found rejoicing or complaining?

What are your eyes focused on?

I stood before you Jesus, doused in the fragrance of humbleness. Mesmerized in the beauty of you; we held hands which felt like time literally stopped. We stood in silence but our hearts connected; speaking volumes while I combatted the urge to blink. Blinking meant I had to take my eyes off of you. I couldn’t fathom the idea. Out of nowhere some figure stood in front of you; this figure must have meant a lot to me. Why didn’t I move them aside? I looked over their shoulder let out a huge sigh thinking- ” Thank God” the people within this room grew rapidly. I stood in the doorway of my heart. Running endlessly trying to find God. I asked numerous people. No one knew who I was nor did they know who you were. I crumbled– face down! I cried out Lord please save me, where are you? While being kneeled down I looked up and I saw the people within the room messing. I was dressed shabbily; covered with the smell of sin. I walked to him ever so graciously not knowing that I left. I held my hands out for his embrace his movement towards my hands caused me to become whole again. We stood…. Our hearts spoke I asked him ” why did he leave me? He said

I never left you my child I stood here– It was you who left me. You took your eyes off of me! And focused them on the world.

I come here today asking you– Who stands in front of God? Who is in your life that is figuratively planted in front of God. Who are we worshipping if it isn’t God? What are your eyes focused on? Ask yourself who is in my life that distracts me from seeking God. We spend countless amounts of time trying to perfect our lives; instead we must spend that time perfecting our walk so that we may not stumble when faced with difficulties in proverbs 6:21-22

it says bind them on your heart always; tie them around your neck. When you walk; they will lead you. watch over you; and when you awake they will talk to you.

God gives us specific directions on what to do so that our eyes won’t stumble us; and our feet wont fail us. Bind his commandments to your neck to keep you from stumbling and taking your eyes off of Christ.

God gives us specific directions on what to do so that our eyes won't stumble us. Click To Tweet
  1. Social Media
  2. Relationships| Friendships
  3. Money

Above are the things that I have come to acknowledge that take our eyes off of Christ. We spend hours on social media but, do we spend one hour reading or praying? We spend months and years trying to work out a relationship that should have ended OR a relationship that should have never  an been option but, do we spend that much time being exposed to God? Do we try to mend our relationship with God? Talk to him daily? Hang| Spend time in his presence? I spent weeks contacting my web designer with ideas and designs for the relaunch of my website but, I spent even more time confessing to him that I don’t want to get consumed in chasing after my goals; that I lose sigh of you. I don’t want to go and open doors down trying to reach my earthly goal that I lose my vision of God. Working endless days just to get money but do I sow that money to the church? We must ask ourself daily what are my eyes focused on?

  1. What are my eyes focused on?
  2. Who stands in front of God?
  3. Do I want success more than God?

As Always Love you like crazy! Jesus Is Forever!

You’re Never Alone….

God will never abandon you! He pushes you to confess of your sins and draw closer to him so that he can feed your inner man. The children of Israel  use to murmur and complain how they felt as if God left them He said you think I did all of that just to allow you to die in the wilderness? God will never leave you. You’re never alone if you have God in your life. For he sticks closer than any brother. God will never leave you to fight the battle of life alone,  He will never leave you. He wants you to love him whole-heartedly so that he can pour his spirit unto you, he yearns for your life in a way this simple blog cannot put into words. Trust me. You’re never alone.
